How can I (23F) deal with the inevitable stress of telling my family that I am moving out because I am disassociating from Jehovah’s Witnesses?
I took the advice of this thread before. I can’t help them. It is time to go. I’ve booked a potential viewing for next week.
I have a lot of fear in my heart about telling them. They won’t be allowed to talk to me anymore. It’s going to create a rift in our relationship that I never dreamed there would be and I do have to go, because if I simply say I don’t want to do it anymore, I come under my parent’s authority and they will try to convince me to stay.
How can I deal with the pain of this separation?
TL;DR - My family are devout Jehovah’s witnesses. I’ve realised it’s not the truth and can’t stay. How can I deal with the stress?
