My (32F) brother’s (37M) now ex-gf (36F) is crazy. She has been texting my entire family the details of their relationship issues, but we are essentially strangers. I have known her only a few months and she is bad mouthing my brother to my family members.
Per his ex, their relationship has been a contentious on/off for the last year. Months ago, I invited her to my bachelorette party because I wanted to get to know her better. It seemed like my bro was serious about her, I figured why not? She is not my cup of tea. I find her to be manipulative and emotionally unstable, if y’all want more examples I’ve got them. To spare you the details, I guess they ended up having an argument on the day of or the days leading up to my wedding. She ended up bawling her eyes out at my reception, sitting alone and drunk at a table (cue the hysterics and attention seeking).
My brother and I were not close growing up because of our age gap. Since we became adults, we have grown closer. I sort of want to offer up my two cents about his ex (I hope it stays that way) and my support (I feel like she will get crazy), should I tell my brother what she’s been doing? Or should I let more time pass since the wound is still fresh?
TL; DR: should I tell my brother that his ex gf has been randomly texting members of our family to try and make him look like the bad guy?
