Okay, as uninteresting the title might sound; I really need to talk about it. I guess it's a frequent topic on this subreddit, but I'll do it either way: Is it normal that my girlfriend barely laughs at my jokes, but always at others?
Now I know she loves me, too. But this kinda bugs me. I don't know why, might have to do with my insecurity. (not might, most likely has). I prolly interpret way too much into this, but it's just I'm the more introverted guy, whereas that guy we frequent with (currently not as much due to obvious reasons) is more of a talkative, entrepreneur person. Whenever he says only a slightly funny thing, she giggles. Whereas I try to be funny, at time that is, I don't overextend, and she almost never laughs, and if she does I feel like she forces it, she doesn't really enjoy them.
I just feel like I'm becoming more uninteresting with each day to her, but I really try the best I can. He on the other hand seems like THE guy: interesting, open, good looking. She also called me a bit too soft already, too sensitive, but I told her I'd change that. I usually am not sensitive or that emotional at all, though I guess my introverted kind makes it seem like I am more fragile. Meanwhile he's the exact opposite of me. I promised her I'll be the person she can depend on, always
I just love her way too much, I also trust her, but this still bugs me, as said earlier. I just don't wanna lose her because I might become too much to her, too uninteresting or anything of the sort. I need some advice on this; do I just overreact (probably) or are my concerns reasonable?
TL;DR: my insecurities and uninteresting personality make me scared of losing my girlfriend to another more interesting guy.
