Just met a female family member of mine who I’ve only met once before. She’s attractive, has a great job, owns a home, doesn’t carry debt. Overall, seems like a well rounded and grounded woman.
When we last met, she was married.
This time around, she has been going through the divorce process for some years. When asked what happened, she said ‘He just wasn’t doing anything with his life, wasn’t working, would wake up every day visibly upset for no reason. I wanted a partner, not someone I had to take care of. I came to realize that he wasn’t ever going to be someone that would be equal to me.’
How this beta male ended up locking down this woman is beyond me. But he did.
The craziest part of it all? Now, he’s using the marriage system and ‘spousal support’ to collect a hefty bill from his ex wife.
A few lessons:
-It COSTS to be the breadwinner and provider. Male or female. Could be more detrimental in certain states.
-Not amounting to anything in your life is unattractive. There’s nothing sexy about a man who can’t take care of himself. Don’t be this guy. Women are attracted to men who are doing things with their life.
-Don’t get married, especially in states that will fuck you harder than your partner ever would.
