I’m 25, male and have tried hard over the past few months to get into a relationship with a nice, kind, educated girl around my age.
I started by trying Tinder but only got a few matches with fake accounts. I ended up going on a date through Tinder but she turned out to be really nasty, insulting me and others so I left. I read that on Tinder, because women get so many likes, they choose the best looking guys to go out with. I am certainly not bad-looking but I am not delusional as to think that I am an extremely handsome guy; I suspect this is the reason why I didn’t get as many matches with real girls as I would have hoped for. It was a similar story with Bumble and Hinge.
Online dating (especially Tinder) is superficial, I would much prefer to meet a woman in person than online. It seems as though the vast majority of girls in their 20s are already in relationships – at least from the girls that I have spoken to/am in contact with. It makes me wonder where all the single girls are. I go out every day and see so many couples together and think how on Earth they managed to meet and make it happen? And what did they do that I have not done/am doing incorrectly. I see women with their boyfriends/husbands and it seems as though they really love them; it breaks my heart to see this because it is such an alien feeling to me.
Some help would be appreciated. Thank you.
TL;DR I'm 25 and am having real difficulty getting into a relationship. Help a brother out.
