Me (20F) and my boyfriend (22M) have been together for 3 months. We’ve been having more and more issues recently and now it’s come to this specific question. I want to share my accomplishment of wearing a bikini for the first time (I have body dysmorphia and low self esteem) to my friends on Instagram, which is a private account.
I asked him if it would be okay, and he’s gotten very mean and negative about it, asking why I have to share that and that I’m practically naked. I really want some outsider advice if this is toxic behaviour or a reasonable thing to be upset about.
TLDR: Is it wrong for me to want to share a bikini photo of myself to my friends while dating someone?
