hey. basically i’ve been casually seeing this girl for about 2 months now. everything has been going good, but she has a strange diet that i don’t know if i can work around in the long term. i’m trying to decide if this is a valid deal breaker.
everyone knows someone who’s a “picky eater,” but she takes it to a whole new level that i’ve just never seen before. she won’t eat any fruits or vegetables, and probably has less than 15 meals she’ll eat if i could guess. her diet pretty much consists of all junk food. to be fair, i’m not much of a cook either, but i do enjoy something other than plain buttered noodles or french fries every other night. any time we go out it also extremely limits the types of restaurants we’re able to go to.
i’ve (gently) asked if this has affected her health in any way, and she insists that this is how she’s always been and she gets a clean bill of health every time she goes to the doctor’s.
besides this she’s a lovely, beautiful girl who i have a lot in common with (i’m a musician, she works in music industry doing public relations). so i’m wondering is there a way maybe i could encourage her to change her habits? or at least get on some vitamins/supplements? i just can’t help but feel worried about her. or should i just forget all of this? is it really any of my business? thanks for your help.
tl;dr! girl i'm seeing has a really unhealthy diet that concerns me. do i let it go or try to help her?
