I (25f) was engaged to the most perfect guy (25m). The healthiest relationship I’ve ever been in. We were living together. We meshed in every conceivable way. One day, out of the blue, after a year and a half together, he tells me he doesn’t want to be in a relationship anymore. We got back together after a week of him staying with his mother. A month later, he breaks up with me again because he “wants to just focus on his career” Very surprising, as I’ve never been demanding of his time and have only ever encouraged him and built him up. But he says he can’t focus on a relationship. Says he is still in love with me, and was very happy with me.
I’m distraught thinking about how I don’t think I could ever love anyone like I love him. People who have been in similar situations, do you truly move on and do things get better? I just can’t imagine that right now
Tl;dr Is finding another “soulmate” possible?
