My mum [47F] is struggling to cope after her partner [61M] of 5 years suddenly ghosted and went back with his ex wife

TLDR Mum is heartbroken as partner of 5 years suddenly ghosted and i have never seen her like this... i’m in a different city to her, what can i do to help her (apart from call her and speak with her everyday)

Hi guys, my mum has been dating this guy for the last 4/5 years and during august he suddenly ghosted on her and stopped replying to her texts and didn’t pick up her phone calls. The next thing you know, she gets wind of him being at a party with his ex wife :(

She’s such a sensitive soul and is having a hard time coping with everything even though it’s been 2/3 months now. What can I do to help her?

She can’t even stay home and wallow because she’s a single mother living in the capital city of England so she has to work.

I’m at uni (2/3hour drive away) and although i call her and check up on her and have chats with her i don’t know how to make her sadness go away or at least alleviate ....

What can I do ?
