I watched my ten year old niece for a night and her mother (my sister) screamed at me that she doesn’t need to hear my “liberal bullshit”

So I’m 21 and my sister is visiting us and my ten year old niece told me she is lesbian and has a “girlfriend”. She also wanted me to take her to get her nose pierced which I don’t think is even possible professionally. So I bought her these fake ones and she wanted to dye her hair as well so I got temporary hair dye and I dyed the tips of her hair.

We had a fun night together and she thinks I’m really cool which is fun. She also says that her dad laughs at her and makes fun of her when she says she has a girlfriend and her mom says it’s just the trend on TikTok to do that. I told her not to worry about what they say and she’ll figure out in time.

Ok so my sister comes and picks her up and says that her ten year old doesn’t need my “liberal bullshit” right now and she can parent her herself. What exactly did I do wrong here?
