My son, 10/M told me that my MIL, 66/F told him I "tricked" my husband 44/M into voting Democratic. They are hard core Republicans, so this isn't too far fetched a scenario. Of course mother in law denied it when I brought it up and requested they do not talk with our kids about politics. Now my husband is mad that I even confronted them, but I thought it was rude and was casting me in a bad light - to my young impressionable son! Am I overreacting?
Tl;Dr my mother in law told my kid I "tricked" my husband into voting opposite their beliefs and it ticked me off. Do I have a right to be mad?
