I work at a pet store and I had a regular come in all the time who was always super friendly. I never thought he would have any intention other then being friends. I gave him my information so we could play Xbox together and I think he took that as me liking him? He asked me out to the movies, to an arcade, and then he said I was pretty. After the first 2 I thought he was just being friendly but after he said I was pretty is when I realized that he was interested in me. I also thought I had mentioned that I had a boyfriend to him but im not 100% sure I told him until I clarified it again
It seems like this happens too often. I will make friends with a guy and I'll have no other intentions then to just be friends, and it always turns into them liking me, then I have to turn them down and it ruins the friendship. I'm also 100% sure that I DONT give off any flirty vibes in return
is this just how adulthood is? I'm about to turn 20 so I'm still new to it. am I just doomed to ONLY have other girl friends bc guys will get the wrong message??
