I got tired of hearing her complaints and constant misery, so I gently told her that seeing a therapist would be beneficial. I made it very clear that I didn't have the kind of training to help her with all of her problems. However, she ended up very upset --- and said "Fine. I just wanted a friend to complain to."
I'm not sure what the deal is but I've clearly set my boundaries... What do you guys think? What would you do?
