My partner (Female, 19 years old) got furious at me (Male, 19 years old) because while looking through Netflix for a documentary to watch, I read the description of a documentary with the title “hot girls wanted”. I was literally just reading because I assumed it had something to do with the horrors of the porn industry, and wanted to confirm if it was true or not. Surely enough it was, and that was that. While she was scrolling through the documentaries, she came across that one and I told her that she’s not going to want to watch that one/read about it. A little backstory: this girl absolutely DESPISES pornography and anything to do with it. She has started multiple fights about it, cried about it, and begged me not to watch porn. So when I told her she was not going to want to read about it, she went and she read it. Upon reading it, she got furious because she saw that it had something to do with porn, and accused me of looking at it because I wanted to see what was in the thing with the title “hot girls wanted”. According to her, I shouldn’t have even looked at it if it had the title hot girls wanted, and since I did it shows that I was interested in hot girls or something stupid like that. I told her why I was looking at it, and she got even more furious saying I wanted to look at it because it was porn, and I shouldn’t want to look at anything like that. Then I got mad because I asked why I shouldn’t watch a documentary about the horrors that women in the industry have faced. She kept going on about how much she hates porn, and that I wanted to look at it because I knew it had something to do with porn/hot girls. Additionally, in the beginning she said that there was “absolutely no way” I would’ve know something with the title “hot girls wanted” would have something to do with porn and that it was impossible for me to assume that. Am I wrong for being mad at her for starting a huge fight about this?
TL;DR: My girlfriend started a huge fight over me clicking on a documentary to read a description with the title “hot girls wanted” and is accusing me of wanting to watch it because it has something to do with hot girls. Am I in the wrong for being mad that she started a huge fight about this?
