I left my abusive boyfriend

I'm 19 years old and I'm leaving my abusive boyfriend. It's been going on for about four years now, since we were teenagers and I've just had enough. Not only does he hit me, he allows his family to disrespect me. I'm over it.

I'm currently on the road to New York where my dad is. I have about hit Virginia and I'm about out of gas but I will figure it out. I know it was probably stupid to leave without enough gas but I knew I couldn't live that way anymore. I guess I'm just venting but if anyone has any advice on how to get gas I would appreciate it.

TL;DR I left my abusive boyfriend. I'm on the road to my dad in New York and I'm about out of gas. I'm scared and I don't know what to do. If someone could please help me out with advice on what to do I would appreciate it. My dad cannot help me and I don't have any friends because my ex didn't allow me to have them.
