My[M21] gf[F21] is religious/asexual hates sex/foreplay etc she wants platonical relationship. So i want to break up, does that makes me a moron/jerk. We had 8 months relationship.

I love spending time with her,travel together etc, we share insecurities/we support each other. I love her companionship. I asked her if she had faced any abuse/ something she denied it offered her to take her to therapist but she denied it.

Initially i thought she was nervous/shy, waited for few months then She told me that she thinks sex/romance impure us make us stick to materialistic world of pleasure etc

She hates even if i compliment her body

I asked her about kids she said artificial insemination / sex in night with lights off being clothed only for being pregnant.

Reason for break up:

I think intimacy is the only difference between girlfriend & female best friend.

I have been with her for 8 months around only reason I'm breaking up with her due to zero intimacy i thought if i wait longer she would get comfortable for intimacy/sex. But She is not.

TL;DR

Its like being best friends with her that i can trust her with anything.But Zero intimacy (no kiss/hug). Does that make me an jerk/moron if i break up with her & stay as a friend with her
