Yes I have resorted to asking strangers on the internet for advice.I’m going to try to keep this as short as possible but please read and provide I out if you can. About 4 years ago my husband first came to me with the idea of it. I was blown away. Did not understand it and I still don’t to be honest. After months he finally convinced me to do it with a friend of his who was willing, and frankly I was attracted to. I had to have several drinks beforehand, the sex was okay, but I honestly felt so violated afterwards. I just didn’t want to do it ever again but every time were having sex it’s all he could talk about. Eventually I caught him trying to sleep with another woman and he had brought the idea up to her which was even more appalling because I thought it was just ME he wanted to do it with. Anyway we nearly divorced, and by Gods grace we were able to salvage things and he told me the desire to do it had completely died at the thought of losing me. So fast forward 2 years, and he just brought it up to me again. Im honestly dumbfounded. He says we never have to do it and that’s he’s ok with just fantisizing about it during sex . But that is the problem! It’s honestly a huge turn off for me. I don’t understand how the thought of watching the person you love making love with someone else is not soul crushing . *i understand this is a thing that works for many couples so I’m not judging * but it’s just not for me.
TL; DR I’m so terrified to go down this road again especially because I’m afraid the Desire will Over take him again and it’ll be all he wants to talk about during sex, etc . We’ve been married almost 10 years and 3 kids, and to be honest I’ve considered leaving this time but I don’t know if that’s a knee jerk reaction.
