TLDR - Girlfriend messy, don't know what to do.
I've been with my girlfriend for circa 1 year now and have been living together for about 6 months.
One issue which keeps coming up is her messiness, she doesn't put anything away which mounts up to the point there could be multiple piles in every room in the house. Some have been around for months.
I've tried talking to her about it but she gets very sensitive saying I'm always pointing things out and she feels like a failure so I try not to mention it.
Ironically I was the messy one in my last relationship, but this really is something else. Since we're both at home now I just don't know what to do about it. I've offered to tidy her things but that made her more mad. It gets me quite stressed a tidy home makes me feel relaxed and I have no escape.
Part of the problem is she always has lots going on, long days at work plus an intense fitness schedule which only work to compound the problems.
