Is there a "right" amount of time for me (31m) to be single after buying home and 9 years of relationship?
Bought a house with my fiance. One month later she cheated and dumped me. Often times I think it did not actually happen but it did. Anyway, getting house out of my name in September.
She was controlling, racked up my credit cards, and isolated me so I lost a bunch of friends and family, had to walk on eggshells around her. She basically emasculated and just am trying to grt everything with house resolved.
Was thinking...I'm just in no rush to leap into another relationship, as since I was 16 ive been in a relationship for all but 3 months. Is there like a good guidepost as to how long I should wait til I'm in a new relationship?
Honestly, my clock doesn't really start til house is refied out of my name in September...
TL;DR: in no rush to be in another relationship, my last 9 years were terrible petty much. Given the severity of buying home and then separating, is there like a "right" amount of time to be single? Havenr been single for longer than 3 months since I was 16. 31 now. Just want my freedom, but dont want to be single too long..
