My girlfriend (F, 25) asks me (F, 24) questions all day long, she then wants to FaceTime me the same day and asks me the exact same questions and it drives me insane

So this is the typical day of my conversation with my girlfriend, we wake up, she asks me how I've slept so I ask her back. I don't mean this in a nasty way but I wouldn't usually ask her how she's slept I would expect her to tell me if she had a rubbish sleep but she asks me everyday which is fine.

But then all these other questions come in (I am a uni student), she'll ask me what I'm up to which is also fine if I say I'm in the library she'll ask ''how is the library?'' I'm like how am I supposed to answer that so I just say it's fine, then she'll ask ''what's for lunch?'', ''how was your lunch?'' these questions are also fine but every day it drives me insane. Just questions with no substance. If I tell her what I'm having for dinner she will get me to send her a picture. She also asks me things such as ''how's your cat'' etc everyday and my answer is always the same, like I am in contact with my cat at home when I'm at uni? Then what's worse we'll FaceTime every evening and she'll ask me the exact same questions literally the same conversations we've had over the day. Like seriously I'm so confused with how she doesn't understand that these questions are so pointless and why she can't see it's frustrating when the answers are always the same...

I feel awful but I can't help but feel angry and frustrated with all these questions and not sure how to respond to her. Also, when we are FaceTiming a lot of the time she just pulls me a goofy smile and doesn't actually talk... I feel like it's because we've talked so much during the day there's literally nothing to say. (We are kind of long distance, we see each-other ever weekend/ every other weekend.

Have other people have similar experiences? Seriously guys please help me what is happening to this relationship because at this point the communication is making me depressed.
