I had to break things off with my boyfriend because of major incompatibility and red flags that didn't come out until way later.
Unfortunately we live together so it makes the situation worse. It's a big spacious place so we have our own rooms plus additional rooms for whatever. I can't exactly move out or get him to move out easily since we live in a small almost remote place and moving would require us to have a hour drive one way to work. The area we live doesn't exactly have much for rentals and neither of us can give up our professions since it's not a job offered everywhere.
We work opposite shifts so I hardly see him but he tries to act like everything is fine when we are home at the same time. Goes in for hugs or kisses and gets upset when I tell him to stop. I met someone I want to go on a date with and asked him if he would let my dog out while I'm gone since I'll be heading to the nearest city for that evening.
He flipped out and said I'm basically cheating on him? I just don't know what to do I feel bad he's upset but at the same time he was a terrible partner unwilling to change.
TL;DR Ex lives with me and we can't easily just move out and is getting upset I want to try dating again.
