Girlfriend cheated on me, twice, need input?
Hey guys I’m going to summarize this as best as I can. Basically long story short my now ex girlfriend(23) and I(26) have dated 4.5 years. Everything was perfect until November of 2019 which isn’t too long ago but, she went upstate to visit a friend at college and came back acted like nothing happened.. anyway went through her phone while she was sleeping(we basically lived together) and found out she was banging some random guy there.
Anyway we broke up for 2-3 months. And she called ME after that time and begged for me back. She claimed she changed for the better (she did a lot of adderal, didn’t work, etc ) loved me misses me, the entire 9 yards. Anyway I really did miss her and being stupid... I did take her back.. she got a job and seemed like she was perfect. We were very happy probably the most since we first started dating, then the COVID-19 stuff happened and we kinda were just lounging around the house bc we had to lol. But I noticed she started drinking a lot (almost every day or every other day)
So a couple months went by again everything was fine and just recently (4th of July) we got into a fight about spending time with her family for 4th of July and split the day and spend the other half with my family which she agreed on. Basically it was about 6pm and she was very drunk already and wouldn’t leave. So I had to leave cuz I couldn’t ditch my family like that’s just not me.
But she partied all night until like 3-4 am from what she told me the next day.. So this continued through the week(having her girlfriends over, drinking randomly on a weekday) she started calling out work and making excuses..
THEN, a random Tuesday came along last week. And of course invited me to go but I had work early the next day and it was around 10 pm when she said she was drinking with her friends and stuff. So we got into a fight about that as well because I was just overall sick of the drinking shit.. but I bickered with her about it and she flipped our and said “you work too much” “you never wanna do anything” and “not my fault you have work early” all that stuff.
So whatever the night passed on and my body woke me up at 4 am and I decided to make a surprise trip there (she lives like 3 min away from me) I go inside and boom. she’s butt naked with another guy. They were both so drunk I couldn’t understand a word. She had hickies all Over her neck, and I basically was speechless. I wasn’t even mad at the guy cuz it’s not his fault.. long story short I found out she called him drunk as shit and told this guy to come over.
Anyways ONCE AGAIN, I tried to forgive her cuz after all this bs I figured why throw it away cuz she was very sloppy drunk... but being the idiot I am.. she texted me yesterday after work saying she can’t do this and she’s not happy, said all she wants to do when she’s off from work is drink and party. And that was that I just said okay because I’m too old for the drama. I just want a girl who can chill out with me during the week(which she used to do idk what changed) and she said she can’t do that nor does she ever wanna chill out.
My big question is where the hell do I go from here? I feel so lost, 5 years about just thrown down the drain because my ex has an addictive personality and can’t control herself with a couple of drinks?? Any input would be great .. thanks in advance..
TL;DR: Gf cheated on me twice.. not sure what to do next.
