What the hell did my girlfriend (20F) mean in this little text she sent me (22M)? I don't wanna ask her cause she said it's an "easy" metaphor

A little bit of context: we've started dating, I really like my gf but she's very discreet and it's hard for her to open up about certain stuff. Today we had a fight over this. She got very sad and sent me this:

"Here is a simple metaphor that is connected with you - it's like you're shining a flashlight in the dark, desperately trying to unravel, to understand. And you see only the outlines, the blurry image, the shadow of a smile. No matter how much you try, no matter what you do, you cannot see the face. Well, one can only wish you luck. That's quite funny, I admit."

tl;dr: gf is discreet, we had a fight, she sent me some allegorical nonsense
