The hoodie my (19F) BF (21M) gave me no longer smells like him. Is it too weird to ask to swap it out for one that does??

My boyfriend has two identical hoodies. With his permission, I took one about 2.5 years ago. We have been dating about 3 years. I have had it for a LONG time, and washed it during that time. As a result, it no longer smells like him.

We are both self isolating in our own homes (we do not live together). I miss him a LOT and think I would be comforted by having the hoodie that does smell like him.

I am sick, so he is bringing chicken soup to my house. We are not going to touch; we will say hi from 6 or more feet away, he will leave the soup on my porch.

Should I ask him to bring his other hoodie so we can swap them out?? I am concerned that he will think it is weird. Accepting any and all advice, please!!

Tl;Dr

I want a hoodie that smells like my BF. Idk how to ask for that without sounding like a serial killer.
