Me and my boyfriend have been dating for 4 years now and have lived together for 3.5 of those years. For the last two years, we've both been working really crappy factory jobs and going to college full time on top of working full time so we have very little time to dress up or do anything. We try to make atleast an hour of time together a day, but today we didn't have to work, due to all the snow where we live, so I decided that I was going to get all dolled up in the morning since he had to go out and run an errand.
I shaved, waxed, did my hair and a full face of makeup, and put on a nice set of lingerie. I thought I looked good, but whenever he got home he gave me about 5 seconds of attention then told me that his best friend had asked him if he wanted to play video games today and he said yes.... It felt like my heart broke because I did all this work to try to look good, only for him to want to play video games insteas of spending time with me. I immediately took of what I was wearing and my makeup and just put on some comfy clothes because after that I just felt like I looked like a fool and I was embarrassed... He asked my why I took it all off, but I just told him I wanted to get comfy because I was going to watch a show and he just said okay then went to play games. I feel so stupid and embarrassed now. I wish he would've given me a few more minutes of attention so I atleast would've felt confident.
TL;DR- My boyfriend ignored me whenever I dressed sexy for him, for the first time in many months.
