My [18F] bf [20M] and to complain to his friend about missing his ex when he just started dating me.

So I’ve been dating him for a year and I got to know one of the female friends he has and I was asking her for advice because she knew better how he worked and as we were talking, I discovered that around a month into our relationship when he went to visit her, he was complaining to her about missing his ex that he’d broken up with around a month before he met me. We started dating very fast, like a couple weeks after we met, but still, is it a red flag? I know he’s over her now, he blocked her everywhere and he removed her from his Netflix account. What do u think I should do? Should I confront him about it or just let it slide?

TLDR: my boyfriend complained to her friend about missing his ex as we were already dating. I figured out a year later. What should I do?
