My boyfriend and I have been together for about a year. We get along great, we have similar interests and know how to make each other laugh, overall a good time and I really like him. Recently we were having a conversation about chores we absolutely hate, and if we could automatically default to the other always having to do this chore since we hate it so much. Now, I was thinking a regular chore like folding clothes or vacuuming, but this man said changing diapers.
We don’t have kids, we’ve talked a little about our own child preferences (we both want kids eventually), but he fully expects that if I don’t have to do my chosen chore, he NEVER has to change a diaper. I got kinda mad at him because like....what the heck and he thinks it’s a completely reasonable request. Is this something to be concerned about?
tl;dr my boyfriend doesn’t ever want to be responsible for the diapers of our nonexistent child
