my(20) boyfriend(25m) and i have been dating for a year. he's been honest about wanting us to be exclusive but casual (his definition of casual is hanging out whenever we want, doing intimate stuff if we want to, dates if we rlly want to, but only whenever he wants so like 1-3 times a month). he said he's fine with our relationship as it is now. but prefers casual) i'm not doing casual, to me it just seems like fwb with a different label but also mentally i cant do that, i'm too emotionally invested for that. ive been honest about my reasons of not doing casual. but whenever i say ill do casual, but id prefer a breakup to casual he wants relationship. i genuinely don't understand what this means.
tldr; bf wants to be casual but find with a relationship, idk what this means.
