I (28F) have been dating my BF (27M) for about 9 months now - and just now I am realizing that he can be pretty arrogant. It isn't directed towards me, but definitely to others and some of my closest friends. One of my good friends has been distancing herself & I couldn't understand why and she finally told me that she finds that he is really arrogant and elitist.
When I told him about this, he basically admitted that yes, it isn't unfounded & he just does not care about certain people so that is why it would come across as arrogant.
It was really shocking to hear him be so frank about that as I am not that way at all and since it hasn't been directed towards me I was blinded from it.
All in all, between him and I, things are great, but I worry about my circle of friends and other important people in my life & don't know what I should do if he views himself as "too good" for some of my friends.
TL;DR - Asking for advice if anybody has similar issues with boyfriend's arrogance and how to deal with that kind of conflict with my circle of friends?
