I knew this guy from a stranger app on the internet 6 months ago. After we talked intensely for 2 weeks through calls and texts, we finally decided to meet. The first time we met we just drove around the city, dine in car (since we're in the pandemic).
He is a really nice guy and we're really connected. We talked about our past a lot, about what happened in our day, we basically talk about everything and I found it comfortable to talk with him and he feels the same way. I thought we could become a really good friends.
Till one day, he told me he liked me. But I was so surprised because I thought we could never happened (we have different religions and race and we talked too much about our past relationships, I thought that we're just gonna be friends).
So when he told me he liked me, I was very confused. It wasn't that I didn't like this guy. I found him really nice to me, and he treated me so well. But I just went out from a bad relationship (so I felt like I wasn't ready to be in a relationship again with anyone), and the differences we have (I don't think our family will agree if things could get serious, and neither of us could convert to other religions)
But he just told me "I know what kind of phase that you are in right now, I am not ready for a serious relationship as well. But I just wanna let you know what I'm feeling, and just let me know if you are ready to be in a relationship again."
The fact that he wasn't rushing me, got us got closer. He helped me a lot during the hard times, and I feel like no one has treated me this nice before. Around a month ago, we also decided to live together during the quarantines.
But now it got me confused because we both know we like each other, he even said he loved me once. But I just don't know what to do next? Does it means that we're in relationship now? should I tell him to make all of this clear?
tldr: A nice guy told me he liked me and the differences we have makes me wonder if I should get closer with him or just stay at where we are.
