Daughter was born on Leap Day and my husband [31M] and I [31F] can’t come to an agreement when to celebrate her birthday on non Leap years

Husband and I cannot agree on which day to celebrate our daughter’s birthday on non leap years (Feb 28th or March 1st). We want to choose 1 date to get her cake and sing happy birthday and keep celebrating on that date every year (even if it isn’t on weekend). Of course there will be weekend celebrations with family and friends in the future but we still want to celebrate on one date and be consistent.

I want to celebrate my daughter’s birthday on Feb 28th because it’s still in the month of February. She was born the end of February. She wasn’t born in March. Feb 28th feels right to me.

He wants to celebrate on March 1st because she was born after Feb 28th. My husband is 100% a logical, left brain heavy person. And if she gets her driver’s license or wants to have a drink when she’s of legal age then she has to wait until March 1st.

Tl;dr: Husband and I cannot agree which date to celebrate our daughter’s birthday on non leap years (either Feb 28th or March 1st). ☹️
