Hi everyone, My Boyfriend (M25) and I (F22) have been dating for 2 years.
I have never snooped or felt like I needed to snoop on my boyfriends phone, computer etc and this was not my goal for the situation. My boyfriend and I’s 2 year anniversary is coming up soon and he has been wanting to blow up one of his photographs and print it on a canvas. I decided I would do this as a gift for him, but needed a HQ download of the image. I use his computer often, and he has no issues with this.
I text his roommate if I can come over sometime later in the week to get the photo and order the print. His roommate is all for it, and I have a key, so he doesn’t need to be there when I come. I arrive and go to his computer to pick out the photo I want, sent a few options to my sister and within 5 mins I decide on an image.
I open the website that I want to order the print through and complete my order. I exit out and think that I should delete my history just in case. I go to the history and select all the sites I visited and delete. I wait for the page to reload to make sure I didn’t miss any.
The first thing I see is a bunch of porn searches, I go to exit when I see in between 5 or 6 searches for porn is his Ex’s (F) Instagram handle. There wasn’t an large break in between, it was multiple porn searches, followed by his ex’s Instagram and within 10 mins more porn.
The only explanation I can think of is that he masturbates to his ex’s Instagram. They have been broken up for more than 3 years. I feel completely disrespected and honestly disgusted. Feel like I should break up the relationship, but want to give myself time to collect my thought and hear some advice. Should I end the relationship? Is what he did disrespectful?
EDIT: The history that i saw was time stamped about an hour or so after we had sex. He had finished.
TL;DR accidently saw my boyfriend ex’s Instagram handle amongst multiple porn searches. Assuming he masturbates to her Instagram photos
