Yesterday I found out from a coworker that she had been hooking up on and off with my BIL for at least a year. He has been in a relationship with my SIL for the past 5-6 years.
Coworker noticed my last name for the first time and asked if I was related to BIL. From there she told me she had hooked up with him several times. I proceeded to tell her that he’s actually married. Which floored her because he always told her he was single.
There’s many more details but the bottom line is he cheated and I feel obligated to let her know. However, she doesn’t like me much mainly because she’s good friends with my husbands ex-wife. Which I feel puts me at a disadvantage when approaching this subject.
My question: Do I tell her what I know? How do I tell her?
TL;DR BIL cheated on sister in law and I’m not sure how to approach the situation.
