I’ve been dating this guy named Andy for three years. He’s the love of my life and we’re getting married this summer. We’ve talked about kids and he wants to start a family right away just like me.
Yesterday out of nowhere he revealed to me he has a daughter out there and he gave up his parental rights. I asked him why and he said the mother of his child was a one night stand and he wasn’t interested in raising the kid or dealing with her.
I told him I have mixed feeling about this and he said if I need space he can give it to me. My friends are calling him selfish and I should run, but I’m super confused.
