Is it rude or controlling of me(21M) to ask my girlfriend(22F) to not swear so much around my parents?

We've dated a little under a year and a half, and I love everything about her, but, her language can be a bit off-putting to me sometimes, even though I've mostly gotten used to it. It's just really embarrassing for me to bring her around my parents & she's dropping all the 4 & 5 letter words, without even knowing how much she's doing it. Her reactions have ranged from, " Ok, I'll work on it" to " Oh c'mon, they're just words" to " I thought I had freedom of speech,"

I know my dad's not okay with it, although he rarely bring it up. This is not to say my parent's don't cuss at all, they do, just, not very often. It upsets my mom a lot. There's a lot of side conversations about " that filthy mouth of hers". Trying to make both sides peaceful, I've talked to my girl about it a few times. Her reactions have ranged from, " Ok, I'll work on it" to " Oh they just slip out" to " They're just words." She tells me she's not doing it intentionally or maliciously, and I believe her, but, at least for those times my parents are around, I'd like her to clean it up. Once they're gone, she can let her vocabulary fly.

TLDR: How can I get my girlfriend to stop cursing around my parents?
