My (28f) FWB turned baby’s father (28m) confuses me.

We were FWB for 6 years. I unexpectedly got pregnant and had his baby 4 months ago. He came to ultrasound/doctor appointments and was in the room when our son was born, he came home with me when we were discharged and hasn’t left since. We do everything together. He calls me “his girl” and the other night, I was looking at our son and I said “I love you” and baby father says to me, “he loves you, we all do”... who is we all? He also looked at the baby and said “I love you guys” (me and the baby) does this mean he loves me and is just afraid to say the words to me, what do you make of this? I have loved him for a long time.

TL;DR: is he in love with me or am I thinking too far into this?
