I(m60's) was contacted by my first love(f60's) after over 40 years. We dated about 2 years. She dumped me over the phone, she was in college and wanted to be with this guy without guilt. This was out of the blue, I was destroyed. A few months later I met a girl, dated , proposed ,married within a year. We were married over 40 years until she passed last year.
So we met for lunch. Did the usual catch up. She had 2 marriages She was flirty, touchy. After a while she asks "did you ever wonder what if...?" I looked at her and said "I have lived a wonderful live, great kids, loving wife and partner so no I never did." This put a damper on lunch. So I did not get reacquainted sex.
TL;DR Met my first love after 40 years. You know what? It still hurts getting dumped.
