I (F29) Just found tinder on my boyfriend's (M26) phone. Together 3 years and living together. Unsure of what to do.
We had just finished dinner and were sitting together on the couch. He was on his phone and I looked over and saw the tinder app. I asked him why he had tinder on his phone and he said that he did an update and clicked 'update all' and it must have re-installed on his phone.
I have researched this and I myself have an iphone and this has never happened to me or anyone online I can find.
I guess I just don't want to believe it because we are looking at houses together and were talking about marriage.
If one of my friend's told me that their boyfriend had told them this I would think they were lying. I hate myself for wanting to believe him.
Edit: Just talked to him and he swears that he doesn't know how it is on his phone and he hasn't been on it. I told him that apps don't just re-install themselves and to just tell me the truth-did he want attention? Does he want to see other people? He denied everything and just keeps saying he doesn't know how it got on there.
Edit 2: I asked him to open the app and he said no because I should 'trust him'. Then said that there would be conversations on there from before we met where he is flirting with other women that I might see and get upset about.
Then said that he had opened the app and there was nothing on there since he had deleted his account years ago. FFS
TLDR: Boyfriend has tinder app on his phone-claims that it must have re-installed in a phone update.
