I [29F] haven’t seen my mother in 2 years. She will be flying to see me next and just asked for a stupid favour.

I live abroad and she will be coming over to see me next week, we were talking on the phone today and she said “Oh my boyfriend bought a phone and will sent it to your house and i will bring it over to him”.

I said no, you won’t. First, because you met this person one month ago and second because i don’t want to.

Without consulting me, without asking.

She got mad, i got mad.

How can i say to her that isn’t nice to impose favors to people? Especially to strangers.

Help, i don’t want this to ruin our holidays together. :/

TL;DR: My mothers Tinder bf wants to ship a phone to my house so she can bring it to him. I am not comfortable with it and my mom got upset.
