My (34F) sister (29F) has barely spoken for over a week after she went to an event with her ex-husband (30M).

My little sister left her husband in July last year. She’s been living with me and my husband ever since. A month ago, her husband contacted her and asked her to attend an event with him. I believe this was the first time he has contacted her since she moved in with me. I told her not to go but she said he wouldn’t take no for an answer and she wanted to see what he had to say.

She got back over a week ago and she’s barely spoken since. She hasn’t cried or anything either. It’s like she’s gone numb. I’ve tried speaking to her and from the small bits of information, I’ve gathered she said the event was nice and I think she might have slept with him and he just left immediately after.

I don’t know what to do or what the right thing to say is. I’ve never seen my sister like this before and I feel helpless. My husband thinks we should contact her husband to demand to know what he did to her, but I don’t know if that’s the right call. Please help.
