My husband always seems to misplace his stuff and he seems to think it’s my responsibility to find it.

My (27F) husband (35M) will ask me ALL the time where his things are. His headphones. His hat. Now the mask. It’s like he doesn’t even TRY to remember where he put it last. We live in a small one bedroom apartment, so there aren’t many places things can get lost. I almost always can find it in one of the first places I look, or tell him where it most likely is. It drives me nuts!!! I rarely misplace things, and when I can’t find something it’s usually because HE moved it and didn’t tell me. How do I approach this with him without seeming naggy? I’m happy to help but when I get texts at work because he’s asking “where did you put my XYZ” when really he just can’t remember where he put his shit, I get quite irritated.

TLDR; husband can never find his shit and I don’t know how to tell him that I can’t always be responsible for finding his stuff!
