My boyfriend (M19) does not care about covid or social distancing. I’m (F19) worried because Covid-19 cases rising in my state. What do I do?

He thinks that if he were to catch it, he would’ve already caught it by now. He goes to big parties where there will be crowds of 20+ people. He goes out to the gym. He goes and hangs out with his friends in groups of 4-5. He eats out with his friends after their workouts. These are relatively daily occurrences.

Right now, coronavirus rates are higher than they’ve ever been in my state. When I tell him this he doesn’t seem to care. It really hurts my feelings that he’s not concerned and he ignores my warnings and fears. What should I do? Is it unreasonable for me to get upset that he goes out? A lot of his friends feel the same way as him about the virus so he thinks I’m being overreactive or unreasonable. Help!

TLDR: My boyfriend doesn’t care about covid-19 and hangs out with friends at parties regularly. This concerns me. How do I address this?
