Am I (19M) allowed to talk with 2 Girls (18 and 20F) at once if I tell them I want to get to know them before committing to a relationship?

I am a uni student and due to the whole covid situation, I have been at home and not had the chance to explore a romantic relationship in person. Recently, on a uni "love letters" facebook page, there has been a trend of advertising yourself or a friend for love. I decided to jump on board and got responses from 2 different girls. Is it OK if I message both of them if I tell them that I want to get to know them before committing to any serious relationship? or do I have to decide between these two now from just what they have made publicly available on facebook?

tl;Dr Is talking to multipul potential romantic interests at the same time ok?
