I'm 61(M) Dating With Dentures and Metal Pegs In My Mouth
I'm dating someone seriously for the first time since I've gotten dentures. These have two metal pegs in the Upper Palate and two in the jaw. I can't eat with them, ever. I've got a mass of scar tissue in my mouth due to the surgery to make the implants work. The metal pegs aren't exactly sharp-more like short slotted screwdrivers in the front of my mouth.
How do I talk to her about this? We are at the stage where intimacy is likely to be a thing. Has anyone else dated someone and needed to reveal this? One kiss is going to make it really obvious, and I don't want to surprise her. Does anyone else have experience with this situation?
