I’ve been dating this girl for about 3 months now and we really like each other. We have both been very busy so we have been mostly texting for a while, but we went on our first date today and it was good. I got home afterwords and she was obviously upset by something. I asked what and she said it was because she thinks I’m too good for her. I don’t understand the logic behind that because I think she is an amazing person and it just makes me confused and frustrated with myself. I noticed on our date that she was very shy and pretty quiet but I got her to open up and she is a very genuine person. I just don’t quite get what I did that makes her think I am too good for her. What should I do?
Tl;DR: My girlfriend thinks I am too good for her because I treat her like any other person I am close to and I don’t know what to do.
