Me and my friend have been friends for over a year now, we clicked immediately. our friend group evolved to 4 people. me, my girlfriend, my best friend, and his girlfriend. over time i started to get butterflies around him, but everytime i did i felt terrible. i love my girlfriend, we have been together for half a year. but i also love my best friend to absolute pieces. he keeps giving me mixed signals though. we say we love eachother (normal in our friendgroup, is 4 are very very close) and sometimes our conversation get sexual. (not to eachother, but like, we just talking about sex to eachother.) he says he likes the idea of us together and calls me his gay love. how am i going to tell this to my girlfriend. what if he doesn’t like me that way. i have no one to talk about this with, because that friend group is my only friends.
edit: i want to clarify this type of thing is normal in our friendgroup. we say we love eachother a lot, and joke around about sexual jokes. me and my girlfriend both agree that we make sexual jokes to friends and us saying “i love you” to other people doesn’t really bother us.
edit two: i’m not leaving my girlfriend. i’m going to work on falling out of love with my best friends, and see if that really works :) thank you all so much, hearing many different ideas and perspectives was a brilliant idea
TL;DR me and my best friend start flirting with eachother, but we both have girlfriends and i don’t know who to choose.
