I will try and keep this brief:
My[27M] girlfriend[28F]of 5 Years comes back from vacation today, she went to bike week in myrtle beach for 4 days(which is part of the reason I’m ending it). We live together and by the time I get off work at 5pm she will be back home and I don’t know how to end it with her.
It’s easy to think of how I will do it but soon as I see her face it’s going to be so much harder, I have no idea if soon as I get home from work I should talk to her and explain how I feel about the relationship or should I wait a few hours after I get off work?
I’m posting this on reddit because I have no friends to talk to about this, I did have several friends at the beginning of the relationship but over the years I slowly stopped talking to them and lost myself in the relationship.
The reason I’m ending it after 5 years is because I feel worthless in this relationship, I have done so much to show affection to her and that I love her but she has never done the same for me. She has given her number to other guys, stayed out all night till 6am with her single friends, when she goes to bike week(where she is at the moment) she has no respect for me and rides bikes with other guys. I’m only discussing a few things that have brought me to this point. I just can’t take the stress anymore, this relationship has literally effected my physical and mental health.
TL;DR Breaking up with GF of 5 years and need advice getting through it
