We could have two days of perfect harmony, and then my stated preference (not overriding her preference, just stated) about what to eat for dinner will upset her.
After the fuse blows, it’s going to be a rough night. There’s really no coming back from it. I have tried various types of time and space, 100% ownership of fault, genuine apologies (multiple, remorseful, full blame), sincere kindness and support, delayed compromise, immediate compromise, and nothing seems to work well.
Is this normal? I’m pretty easy going and she gets her way a lot. Perhaps I brought this on myself.
TL;DR fiancé has short fuse, long cool off, please help
