I (25M) found out that my gf (27F) of 4 years, cheated on me 2 years ago through a sugar daddy website.

Recently me and my girlfriend have been going through a rough patch. We’re both been working a lot to save up as we’re planning a big move in a few months. We met abroad and have lived here together for the past 4 years. The big move planned was for us both to move back to my home country.

I shouldn’t have but during our rough patch I got suspicious and checked through her phone. It’s not something I would normally do and I honestly wish I hadn’t. But I found messages, emails and phone calls from a sugar daddy website she was signed up to. We’ve been together for 4 years and this was 2 years ago during the first lockdown. She met with 2 seperate men a couple of times each and had sex using a condom for cash.

It’s honestly a huge shock I have no idea what I should do. She’s such a sweet and kind person and I love her so much. We had plans to have kids and buy a house together and I was so excited. I was head over heels in love with her. But now I’m stumped.

I almost see her side as during the lockdown she had no money, and these meetings were meaningless. But I don’t understand why she wouldn’t just ask me for the money. Or why she even felt like it was an option.

She’s a great person and I know she cares about me and loves me. When I confronted her with it she she was very emotional and tried to justify it as she has no support from home and didn’t was to ask me for help. She wants to make things work but the trust is gone. I don’t know what to do or if I can ever forgive her. I’m just so disappointed, I thought everything was perfect.

I haven’t spoken to any friend or family about it yet and I need advice.
