How do I (21f) politely get out of participating in certain activities with my dad (51m)?

I love my dad, I really do. But there are just certain things I don't like doing for him. Sometimes he'll call me in his room to show me something he's interested in, such as a movie or YouTube video, or to talk about politics or parenting or something. I'll expect it to be like 5 minutes, but he ends up taking like an hour of my time and it's so exhausting. It's especially frustrating when I'm in the middle of something or have something I need to get done. I don't wanna be an ungrateful daughter though by hurting his feelings, and I do wanna cherish moments like this where he shares with me something he's interested in. But I really just don't know how much longer I can take this. How can I politely tell him he's burning me out with this? Is there an excuse I could use to get out of stuff like this?

TLDR: I'm exhausted with my dad's requests to listen to him talk/show me something and I wanna figure out a polite way to get out of it
